Today I earned every dollar of my paycheck. There was shit all over my classroom. That’s all I’ll say. Since I’ve gotten home, I took the longest, hottest, scrubbiest shower. Washed ALL my clothes, down to my shoes. Took 3 shots of blackberry crown. Did 2 hair masks and a face mask. Now I’m just sitting and watching my kids eat their dinner. Because while *I* had the shittiest day, my life didn’t stop at contract hours and I still have stuff to take care of. And guess what?
