I've been to 40 of the lower 48 but the two I think are the kindest/most welcoming are Michigan, Wisconsin, Kansas and Maine. (Haven't yet been to Minnesota, but I think it'll be the same/good peeps!) Unfortunately, most southern states are filled with rude meany heads 😤 (that don't know how to drive 😅)
