I see A LOT of posts about the dynamic between Gen X parents and Millennial kids. And let me just say I cannot relate AT ALL. 90% of my Gen X friends have Gen Z kids. As someone on the younger end of Gen X who had a kid in my mid thirties, I'm in the throes of teenage parenting. Many of my friends have high school/college age kids. Several have elementary age kids or younger. We were the "lean in" generation (a story for a different day) and many of us delayed starting families.
