Tragedies happen in Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina and there is American solidarity. Why can’t you just admit that everybody hates California? Nobody feels sorry for that state when something bad happens to it. 

Well just ignore the a-holes and help each other along our coast!

It is terrible. I am one who actually hates the political views of California and it’s emotionally driven politics but I cannot for the life of me go low and say those things. It’s sad and people because of mismanagement of government (which looks like the cause) are suffering. Very sad indeed.

There are definitely vultures out there just itching to politicize this and blaming any myriad of causes that are not responsible, however there are many more people out there that aren't seeing the mismanagement of this state and county for what it is. In the 4th largest economy in the world we have a lot of people who don't realize said economy is built largely off the sale of non-vital goods and services, that don't comprehend endless growth capitalism is itself the main problem at work here
