When we were introduced to Adirondack history in school, we met someone that taught us about dowsing. After 40 years, I realized why it "works". 🤦 No, I am not claiming that any pseudo-science mumbo jumbo is real: not Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, flat Earth, faked moon landings, healing crystals, the Bermuda Triangle, ancient aliens, etc., And certainly not dowsing. But there's a reason why water is often easy to find when dowsing. And it was a real facepalm moment when I figured it out.
