I’m sorry I am a traditional man when it comes to certain things. . . I firmly believe that a man is supposed to chase the woman, court her, spoil her, love her more. Anything outside of that is weird. I don't care how INDEPENDENT and self sufficient she might seem. Treat her well. Surprise her with things. Take her out. Court her. Pursue her. She's only an alpha woman because she has to be, not because she wants to be.
