The live-action Beauty & the Beast gets way too much hate. The songs are beautiful, Emma Watson is a great Belle, Luke Evans kills it as Gaston, and Dan Stevens as the Beast? Yes. Plus it’s packed with legends like Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor, and Emma Thompson! That cast alone is a win. It’s one of my comfort movies. I’ll throw it on multiple times a year. I wasn’t even a huge Beauty & the Beast kid (I was more of a Princess Jasmine girl) but this version? I’ll defend it every time.
