I don’t understand writers who say they don’t read. Not that they struggle to find time. That they just don’t. I have questions. 🤔🤨 AuthorThreads

I used to be an avid reader. Sadly not as much. My fav writers had patterns I eventually learnt. I switched to audio books of African writers. I started enjoying those more. I would rather go outside n listen to a conversation, witness life, listen to podcasts, maybe read a poem or three online but sit and hold a book? It is hare. My eyes aren't what they used to be. Oh n I write better poetry now than when I was an avid reader.
