There is an older male teacher in my building that reminds me so much of my own dad, that any time I have a “dad task,” I go straight to him. Today he helped me open up a bottle of peppercorns that I needed for a social studies lesson. He’s also helped me fix my pencil sharpener, move my pull-down maps, and identify weeds growing in my classroom potted plants. 😂
