I have been wondering why every car manufacturer has been going all in on EV. I like them and there is a market but I’m surprised by the investment. I think I figured out why they are: batteries. You have to replace the battery every 5-10 years and they are crazy expensive and the dealer has to do it.

6 小時內	Phil Harlow phil.harlow	Actually, most batteries last about 45-75 seconds. After that they need replacing at the dealer for $275k. Most ev owners won’t admit to it tho. Big oil has done a lot to help improve batteries from the former 10 second battery life cells of yesteryear, hence their vested interest in spreading this information
