Got tired of my automatic, and my fancy car with the "manual mode where I can either shift gears with "buttons" on the steering wheel, or actually use the gear selector. My old manual is too fun to drive, even after 31 years! NOTICE: I said "killed gearboxes". They didn't break on their own.
