I see racist/sexist/transphobic/etc. comments/posts/reels go viral all of the time on Meta’s apps and see people like myself getting content warnings for speaking out against that type of content. I even got a strike once for sharing a screenshot of a comment that I reported and Meta deemed as “safe.” So I get that people are upset about the new changes to the policies from Meta (I am too), but I don’t think there is going to be much of a difference from a user experience perspective.
