Compared to metro authorities in Europe, China, and Japan... what do you think. The state of NYCs subway stations is third world by comparison, especially in the boroughs. Disgusting, unsafe, falling apart, not even any climate control, it's laughable - especially when you consider the MTAs budget. A dysfunctional machine that no amount of money will fix. Complete reform is needed.
