Seeking some others’ opinions on what I see as inconsiderate, but maybe is opportunistic.. A new reformer Pilates studio opened here January 2nd after months of soft launch selling their 3 month unlimited membership. We were invited a month ago to their app to sign up for classes, and were allowed to sign up for 15. The classes fill up fast with only 12 spots and often reach lengthy wait lists. So.. fast forward to this week. I’m in the lobby waiting for the previous class to end and 1/3

The owner is a bit surprised and says “ohhh you’ve signed up for both? We really ask that you don’t do that with it being so busy and brand new and everyone trying out different classes.” There is a small debate about whether that is a rule or just a consideration. It’s just an ask. The woman says that she’s done it 2/3

I am an instructor at CP and it is not uncommon for members at the locations in my area (NC) to take back to back classes. I actually love it! Also the managers and front desk don’t mind and usually go ahead and check them in for the next class w/o them having to ask if they see them often & recognize their name on the class list.
