For those who have reached out the past few days to see if I am alright, thank you. Your care and concern truly touched my heart and I am so grateful for you. Luckily we are far away enough from the fires but unfortunately some of our friends and family are impacted, so far they are safe at the very least. I've also seen some atrocious comments regarding the CA fires. I implore those people to practice a bit of empathy. Natural disasters are devastating. PERIOD.
