Growing up in the Bay Area I HATED LA. Like, really hated. It was the worst. For sure our rival. Then when I moved here after college I was surprised/shocked/dismayed to find out LA does *not* hate NorCal. It does not see a rivalry at all, actually appreciates it. Why? Because LA doesn’t have time for that silliness. It’s the best. And it knows it. And anyone out there saying the city and its people somehow deserve this destruction? As naive as 11-year old me.
