Had lunch with my coworker friend at Matchbox in Pentagon City today. We’re about 30 minutes in—enjoying our cream of crab soup (10/10 always), sipping Prosecco, which I almost didn’t get bc of the glass to bottle cost ratio—when suddenly, the lights go out. The fire alarm starts blaring, and we can see people are pouring out of the mall through the window.
