For me, the situation in Los Angeles can only be compared to 9/11 or Hurricane Katrina. We’ve lived through so many tragedies in the last 25 years, and for me, the LA Fires are at that level. Thankfully, not in terms of lives lost, but certainly in terms of scale of destruction, shock, and human displacement. It’s amazing to see the community of Los Angeles and greater California come together unlike anything we’ve seen before, much like America did in the aftermath of 9/11. 🧵
