one thing i’m noticing about the conversations around the tik tok ban & the LA fires is how many people devalue entertainment and art. people saying “get real jobs” or “you don’t deserve to make money doing that” and yet.. you spend every day and night scrolling tik tok and watching netflix. the things that bring color and excitement to your life have SUCH value. that’s why people make money creating it.
