Was on a cruise a few weeks ago. I was sitting alone in the atrium of the ship people watching. A lady came and asked if the chair next to me was taken. I said no so she sat down. We chit chatted a bit. Then she brought up politics. She was MAGA. I said we have different views and I don't want to discuss politics. After 2 or 3 minutes she moved on. Average age of guests on the ship was about 60+. I wanted to enjoy my vacation.

一天內	John McDermott jomimcd	This makes me sad. I don’t consider myself MAGA or liberal or progressive or conservative. I’m just a person trying to live my life. And I understand not wanting to be bothered while on vacation, but I’ve learned so much by listening to other people’s points of view. I certainly don’t always agree - and that’s ok. But sometimes I’ve had my eyes opened to other ways of thinking. And once in a while, other people have become sympathetic to mine as well. What happened to communication?
