I’m NGL, I don’t wanna read any books related to or retelling stories about slavery & slavery- related struggles. Not that I want to be ignorant or dismissive, it’s just that I actually learned a lot about that part of American history in college & I am in my light-hearted, lovey dovey reading era … & that’s a very heavy, daunting subject.
