I’m not equipped to live this life in bitterness because someone broke up with me, left me, or insert whatever other issue. My parents taught us to never give another person power over us and no matter the circumstances, we could always process our emotions, recover, & move forward. Maybe it’s pride, but I’d be pissed if an Ex even thought I even cared that much 😫. My exes would all collectively agree that after a breakup one thing I don’t give is a damn.
