I changed the burnt-out headlight on my car today. All by myself, with my own tools and everything. That might not sound like a big deal, but I've never been particularly handy or a DIY guy. I didn't learn any of this stuff growing up (my father was too busy insulting or ignoring me). So for me to fix something manually? To not have to pay a mechanic to do it for me? That's a freaking win.

I never had any real mechanical aptitude even though my dad could do it all. My sons on the other hand, really took to it like and absorbed as much info as they could, constantly learning and both are very successful techs. Masters in their craft and make more than I ever did. I was more into construction and the trades. 👍🏼
