My heart goes out to the people of Los Angeles. Life is full of trials—natural disasters, sickness, and loss—but Jesus told us it wouldn’t be easy (John 16:33). God doesn’t cause bad things but assures us His will prevails. The Holy Spirit is with us to comfort and guide. 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 reminds us to use the comfort we’ve received to help others.
