Guitarists, producers, recording people...I'm old school and still mic my amps for guitar when recording. I do use plug ins to dial my sound in. What's everyone else's process for recording guitar?

I still like to mic amps, if I have the choice. Sometimes I’ll track guitar parts with an amp sim then re-amp. My go-to is a dynamic mic close on the cabinet, and wide-diaphragm at least 6’ back in the room.
