People who try and tell you to "go meet people the normal way" really have no idea what it's like to be an Autistic person trying to build connections in the "real world." Online communities are accessible for so many people that would otherwise be isolated and alone. Never let anyone shame you for the friends you have online. They are precious and valuable.
