I've just finished the original Wonderful Wizard of Oz and... man, I was quite taken aback by the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodsman being cold bloodied killers. Don't get me wrong, they were saving the day... but the the stories end their body count lay close to a hundred 💀 Kidding aside, it was a great listen, enhanced by Anne Hathaway's narration - she was clearly having so much fun reading this.
