I had this same fear. if you have an epidural you don’t feel it, however the recovery with a tear ain’t for the weak 😩 but I have an extremely low pain tolerance and i handled a first degree tear like a champ, so I know you’d be just fine if you do tear. I have tons of recs for home postpartum care if you need them 🫶🏽
