Separating the art from the artist doesn’t really work on a sliding scale with this level of wolf-sheep monstery. Not for me anyway

I completely understand that. I am still struggling reconciling my separation of stories I adored and shaped me from Gaiman's actions. I fell in love with a specific brand of modern mythology in large part due to American Gods. I'm not ready to give up my personal past with that story and the doors it opened within me just yet. I guess I'm ready to not separate the art from the artist, but not ready to separate the art and my growth surrounding it. If that makes sense.
