One of my colleagues called me tonight, ranting about the CNY potluck last week. Apparently, this one colleague—famous for her tapau habit—started packing food even before the makan-makan properly began. It used to be manageable, but last week she went all out, taking all the desserts and whatever she could, knowing others were looking for that tart. She thinks it’s normal, just laughs when called out, and keeps doing it. If this continues, I might just explode in the office one day!
