If rent is so high in Europe, how come you guys have so many homeless people?

Nah it’s kinda shit. Spain is a beautiful country and if you have an English wage / online business you’re LIVING

I’ll try to be brutally honest without saying Europe good America bad. At the bottom end of the barrel it is generally better to be a european (minimum wage, healthcare, transport) However with our stagnant wages and shitty public services (in the UK) it makes little sense to stay in Europe if you’re in a professional field where pay is higher in the states even with added costs like healthcare. We aren’t as carefree as you guys think unfortunately.

We got better health insurance, safe schools, strict gun restrictions, safe cities, public transport, environmental protection, workers’ rights, financial support for the poor, AND affordable food that’s not full of garbage. Been to the US recently and still shocked about the awful food quality and how hard it was to find something remotely healthy that doesn’t taste artificial af. not everything is perfect but still way better than the US.

Just chillin in my life w. free healthcare, maternity AND paternity PAID leave - 5 weeks paid holiday, free educational system, free dental for under 18, no guns (imagine not being scared of being shot at school or in a mall) idk but I don’t know why the US is considered such a great country. You are great people, no question - but seriously, what is so great about being controlled by the rich 🤷🏽‍♀️ And what’s up with tipping? Why don’t you pay the people serving at restaurants a fair living wage?

Have you ever even been to a supermarket in Europe? Item for item, like for like, groceries are significantly cheaper there than in the US. That’s been my experience shopping in Germany —been there 3 times in the last couple years.
