Dreams are going to be reality!
Spanish company Herrenknecht Ibérica, which specializes in tunneling technology and services and supplies some of the world’s largest drilling machines, has won a contract to conduct a feasibility study for the permanent link project between Morocco and Spain.
The proposed tunnel, which will connect Tangier to Spain’s Punta Paloma, is estimated to cost €6 billion to complete, and the feasibility study is expected to be completed in June 2025.
