Can someone enlighten me what makes it weird? I’ve been here for 9 years and the only thing I don’t like is the summer. I like the stores, food, etc., and who cares about what else, I plant roses of different colors, and plant beans, okra, oranges, bell peppers, and eat them (except the roses), then I listen to the humming birds and wood peckers.

As someone born and raised in Az, what I see is people moving here from different parts of the country expecting to find “their” culture here. Same as driving everyone expects “you” to drive the way they do based on where they are from. Sometimes what you’re looking for is where you came from. You can’t expect people and places to be what you built up in your mind. Hope you find the peace you’re seeking.

What culture?!?! 😂😂😂 No, seriously you just have to find your tribe. AA are less than 2% of the population & they are spread out. There are a lot of Midwesterns that live in AZ not sure where you are originally from.
