Tomorrow I'm teaching a church friend how to slaughter and clean chickens. She bought meat birds to raise and didn't really think about the whole 'turning them into meat' part. My sweet neighbor 'voluntold' me that I would be helping and she would assist. I've never taught anyone how to do this chore before, I've just done it and taken a meat share. But this new friend wants to learn (or so she thinks) fingers crossed this goes well.
