I really don’t understand when people say that Chicago is cliquey and they can’t make friends. I went to my first influencer event here tonight and everyone was so lovely and open. I pulled up solo and didn’t know a soul, not even the organizer. By the time I left we were all homies. I’m talking 10-15 people! No weirdness or nastiness in sight. I think there are a few key things to connecting with people in Chicago 🔑
