Identity and tribalism is probably not going away anytime soon... Even without organized religion these would still exist, it's within human nature. But once you start viewing these as grades of understanding and wisdom of insight, you'll become more accepting of flawed reasoning and apparent dogmas. And perhaps focus more on providing insights and guidance, rather than constant debates...if they don't accept the guidance - let it go.
