A lot of people being so ignorant about things outside their own country. Although it is possibly a side effect for being such a dominating superpower.  They only watch sports inside their own country. They news are very much about their own country.  They very much only watch movies and produced inside the US, very often the US is the good guys Iraq, Iran and so on are the bad guys.  They were taught they are the hero and saviour of the world, the USA is the only free country in the world
