This year, I celebrated New Year’s 2025 in Phuket for the first time. It was wonderful! Everything was perfectly organized for tourists—fireworks and various shows. However, one thing made me sad. Thousands of people released lanterns into the sky without considering the consequences. I still can’t understand why they do it. Will these lights change their lives in any way?
