I'm about done with CA fire posting, after this: there are probably several thousand bulldozers in CA. You've had a week to see what can happen. Why weren't fire breaks put around every vulnerable community? Why do we wait until there's a fire to actually do that? Is it because it's legal when there's a fire, but too much regulation when there's not a fire? Has everyone else been clearing brush, bushes, and trees like crazy around their houses this week?
