I was a free lunches kid until CA made all school lunch free I have no problem paying for those kids free lunches with my taxes. On top of that I wouldn’t mind my taxes being used on getting hungry people free meals or universal healthcare, or universal housing. Isn’t that what our taxes are supposed to be used for? Helping our communities and funding welfare?

I should have been a free lunch kid, but my dad was too proud to “take charity.” One of my most persistent memories of childhood is hunger. PLEASE raise my taxes and feed all the kids.

They don't care about kids!! They only care about them when they're fetuses. The second they're born, especially if they're poor, they're third-rate citizens. It makes me sick.
