I got removed from a beginner photography group for giving critique that the photographer asked for. I thought I was polite by pointing out the numerous focusing issues, lighting issues but apparently that is bullying. I'm very confused. 😶

The photographer wasn’t asking for a critique, he was asking for validation. Some beginners just can’t accept how bad their current photos are because they don’t have the experience to see. And they won’t get that experience unless they accept criticism. It’s the proverbial catch 22.
