In high school, there was this edgelord kid who would draw backwards swastikas on stuff. And when confronted, he would say "What? It's an ancient Chinese symbol for good luck! What are you mad about?" He knew what he was doing and he was smug about it. Anyway, one day he used a slur against a special-ed kid and that kid beat the brakes off of him. Everyone stood around and watched. No one helped him for several minutes until a teacher showed up. "It was a Roman salute."
