Got a lot of anti-vax response when I posted about getting my shingles vaccine. Shockingly, no one I asked was able to show me their medical degree or tell me which medical school they went to. No, the vaccine won’t give you shingles 🙄 No, the vaccine isn’t intended to cure an active outbreak 🙄 No, apple cider vinegar and baking soda doesn’t prevent shingles 🙄 —and a bunch of other nonsense I don’t have time to respond to #

I have had both vaccinations, at no cost to me thanks our Australian health system. I'm 73 and the only side effect was a mild rash after the second shot that cleared up in days.
