If calorie counting helps you stay in a deficit and you use it as a tool to create amazing abundant, high volume meals and you don't feel deprived - that's awesome.
It it makes you feel stressed out, makes you think of ways to eat even less food, or makes you feel like you can't have things you actually want to eat - then that isn't a good sign and please get some support from a dietitian (or a therapist if your thoughts are really negative and self critical).
