The Ruins of St. Paul’s in Macau are what remains of what used to be the Church of St. Paul.
Originally completed by the Jesuit missionaries, the church was destroyed by a fire in the early 19th century.
What remains is the church’s grand facade, which is the one that we see today.
Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the ruins represent a unique cultural fusion of European and Chinese influences in the region.
