It's like writing an essay or a book and you'll need someone to read it with a different "eye". Because we tend to overlook some errors and having someone else read it helps us point it out.

I often thought patterns testers tested 1. To be recognised as a crocheter 2. To be given an opportunity to work with another crocheter 3. For the person they’re pattern testing for to provide feedback for their pattern. Not everyone understands but those would stand with me if I pattern tested
