It can be this way sometimes. Whether it’s working in a underserved community w/ harsh circumstances, unfriendly colleagues, or a tough curriculum — you will be alright friend. You have a whole community to support you. YOU’RE HERE FOR A REASON 💪🏽💕TeacherLife

It does not get better. Run. This is a career where they will gaslight you and overwork you. It’s a profession built on unpaid labor. Leave while you can and get paid what you are worth.

Overwhelmed with the responses, thank you 🥹 it means a lot. Today was a lot better.

Year one was so terribly hard. Year 2 was manageable. Year 3 felt like a breath of fresh air. Year 4 now is amazingggg not necessarily easy but I can actually function lol
