The newborn stage was not easy for me. My oldest I attempted to breastfeed didn’t realize I wasn’t producing enough and was starving her. Couldn’t figure out why she was latched 99% of the day and still losing wait. Took a huge hit on me mentally and it’s a guilt I haven’t gotten over 2 years later. My youngest was very colicky and cried so much nothing we did soothed her which also took a huge hit on me mentally. I constantly had her at the pediatrician thinking something else had to be wrong

I often say it’s a warm up for toddlerhood, because if you birthed a toddler you’d likely not survive 😂
