I had to drive about 2 hours in each direction today for a doctor's appointment. (One of the perils of living in a rural area!) I also picked up my newly fixed sewing machine, and strolled a really bougie grocery store! But, in all these encounters, I tried to gage who would be willing to talk to me about my fears of what is coming. I'm working on short things to say that can get a reaction, in one way or another, so I can decide how to proceed. Because we need to support each other!
