Black people yelling about having Native ancestry but never took an DNA/ancestry test, is equivalent to yelling that your hair would’ve been longer if your Mom hadn’t relaxed it in 3rd grade. No, you most likely have Irish, Scottish or German blood because well slave masters. When I traced the Scottish percentage? Straight to a plantation in Alabama. Now I DO have Native ancestry because Mexicans and Natives are intertwined. My last name is Jiminez so… yeah.

Yes I think European genes are floating around in both the black and white populations of the US and anywhere where the African diasporas were forcibly taken to... given the sexual impropriety of white slave masters. I’ve heard someone else say this before and I was so confused by it. To me, only those that don’t know their heritage would need to do it. Also, when you are indigenous along with something like black American that is diluted with European ancestry, depending on the DNA company you use can be inconclusive or generalized.
